W nocy z niedzieli na poniedziałek w Los Angeles odbyło się 56. rozdanie nagród Grammy. Najwięcej statuetek trafiło do duetów: Duft Punk i Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Jedna z nagród trafiła również do Polaka- Włodka Pawlika. Nasz rodak zwyciężył w kategorii Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album.

Tuż za duetami :Duft Punk i Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, które otrzymały po 4 statuetki, uplasował się Justin Timberlake z trzema nagrodami. Po dwie nagrody dostali młodziutka piosenkarka Lorde i nominowany aż w dziewięciu kategoriach rapier, Jay Z. Nagrodzony został także Polak. W kategorii Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album statuetkę otrzymał Włodek Pawlik za płytę "Night in Calisia" nagraną wraz z Randym Breckerem i Filharmonią Kaliską.
